Shangpin China Specialty Website construction On September 8, 2016, Shangpin China signed a contract for the global water cycle simulation and prediction research team project.
 

Team Profile:

The "Global Water Cycle Simulation and Prediction Lab" of Tsinghua University (English name: HydroSimulation and Prediction Lab, referred to as HydroSimpl for short) was established in 2004. At present, there are 1 professor, 3 associate professors/associate researchers, 2 assistant professors/assistant researchers, 9 doctoral students and 7 master students. Yang Dawen, the academic leader of the team, is a distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholars, a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and a distinguished professor of Tsinghua University's "Hundred Talents Program".

Team purpose:

Explore the simple laws of the complex hydrological world, and build a bridge between scientific cognition and application practice.

 

Research direction:

The main research directions include: methods and applications of distributed hydrological models, principles and applications of water and heat balance coupling in river basins, mechanisms and models of eco hydrological processes, short, medium and long term runoff forecasting combined with hydrology and meteorology, coupled simulation of water quality ecology in river basins, regional and global hydrological simulation and prediction, etc.
