Keyword analysis is an important link in SEO optimization and promotion. Whether it is the positioning of the website before the construction of the site, the layout of keywords during the construction of the site, or keyword mining during the optimization process, keyword analysis is indispensable; Recently, Taizhou Internet Company has also been wondering about keywords, because one of its websites has good traffic, but few conversion rates, and few calls come in a day; Through continuous learning and summary in the past few days, I finally realized some knowledge about keywords. Here are three aspects of the value of keywords I summarized:
1、 Number of keyword searches
Many friends are complaining about why their keywords are optimized to the first place, but the website has few traffic? In fact, these optimized keywords may be words without search volume, such as Taizhou website construction. Therefore, although we have optimized it to the first place in Baidu, there is not much traffic from this keyword.

2、 Competitiveness of keywords
We all know that the more keywords are searched, the more people will do it. The competitiveness of this keyword will inevitably increase. In terms of keyword selection, we must consider its competitiveness. In addition to popular keywords, it also includes some keywords with high conversion rate. In addition to some websites using the home page to optimize, We found that bidding promotion also involves some keywords, such as Taizhou website construction and Taizhou Internet Company. The search volume of the two keywords is almost the same, but there are many Baidu promotions of Taizhou website construction, while Taizhou Internet Company has no promotion, as shown in the figure:
If we want to optimize these two keywords, from the perspective of conversion rate analysis, we can't determine that Taizhou website construction company must have more business than Taizhou network company. Maybe the website construction company should be more precise, but I think Taizhou network company's value is higher, because Taizhou website construction company has too many Baidu promotions, Even if we are the first, we can't bring a few traffic to the website. The latter is the first and has obvious advantages.
3、 Conversion rate of keywords
It is sometimes difficult to judge the conversion rate of keywords. On the surface, it seems that the conversion rate of one keyword may be higher than that of another keyword, but we cannot consider it from our own perspective, because we are in this business, and the customer's thinking may be completely different from ours; Some keywords are more obvious, such as the price of building a website and how to build a website. The conversion rate of searching the former may be much higher than that of the latter.
The above three points are my own analysis of the value of keywords. Each point can reflect a certain part of the value of keywords. But when we build a website, we should consider the above three aspects at the same time, and adjust it according to the industry of the website. For example, we are a traffic station, so we can ignore the conversion rate, As a website selling products, we should consider the above three factors, which we must consider in SEO.
