1、 Buy space
The easiest way to build a website on the public network is to buy mature public network space. The advantage of buying space is cheap and convenient. If it is a foreign space, it will be cheaper. If you can tolerate a ping value of more than 300ms, you must choose a foreign space! The disadvantage is that the control over the virtual host is quite limited, and it is not so convenient to decorate things. At the same time, because webhost usually places a lot of space on a physical host, it will be more awkward in case of peak access. However, these spaces are often not flexible enough. In many cases, the website needs to be closed for maintenance and migration. The final friend did not choose this option.
2、 Purchase independent IP
It is also a feasible way to buy an independent IP from an ISP and then use your own PC to build a website. The advantage is that you can completely control the server running the website, and the broadband is not limited by the traffic after the monthly subscription. It is said that verycd started like this. However, the disadvantages are quite obvious. The PC should be kept on all the time, and the electricity charge is a large amount of money, while the general PC can't guarantee the boot time of 7 * 24 hours a week. If you use a small server PC, such as an HP server, it will cost you more than 5k. Power failure, data backup, disk raid array, machine cooling, etc. are all problems to be considered.
In addition, it is also necessary to consider the rental cost of public network IP, which is generally more than 1k per year (quite a pitfall, an independent IP in America costs only 2 to 3 dollars a month). My friend is not a full-time website operator, so this scheme was also lost by pass.
3、 Purchase VPS and virtual machine

In recent years, taking advantage of cloud computing, virtualization and virtualization technologies have become increasingly popular. In fact, VPS is to set up a virtual host on the public network and log in to it remotely through SSH or other methods. What should we pay attention to when selecting VPS? It's all because the great motherland's international exports are too small! After discussing with friends, I can only use it as a backup server. It is worth mentioning that Amazon's management panel is very easy to use, but it is far from good in China.

It is said that this is a VPS provider with a good reputation. They promise "never oversold", and friends who have used it recommend it. But the result of not overselling is that you can't buy anything you want
Find a friend who bought their products to ask for an account, and log on to find that the ping value is still not ideal. Editing and development on it are very painful! I had to stop and go back to the domestic VPS.

In order to obtain a low ping value, you can only find a domestic VPS. The purpose of looking for domestic VPS is to "be reliable". The only disadvantage is that you can only apply for single line, and double line is estimated to cost more. But when I saw the bandwidth price, I felt that it was too bad. There was no traffic delivery. The network bandwidth price was the same as that of ordinary hosts, and the bandwidth should be shared.
The biggest advantage of Shanda Cloud is that it can charge by the hour, which is really like "cloud".

The price is appropriate, and there is DIY configuration function. Unfortunately, the server can only be selected from Sichuan Mianyang Telecom, which makes our Netcom party feel embarrassed. And the level of technical support is also limited. Ask them what virtualization technology they use, Xen or Open VZ? It's better to use VMware than pass.

This is a very small company. Several people are doing it. They know about it through the ads on vpsee. Several young men are more energetic and the price is reasonable, so I finally chose them.
