The Red Cross Society of Shunyi District is a social relief organization engaged in humanitarian work and a local organization of the Red Cross Society of China. It accepts the operational guidance of the Beijing Red Cross Society, is responsible for publicizing and implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society, implementing the Constitution of the Red Cross Society of China, and organizing the implementation of the guidelines for the work of the Red Cross Society of China. The focus of work is to vigorously promote the Red Cross spirit of "humanity, fraternity and dedication" and improve the situation of the most vulnerable groups.

Since its establishment in 1988, the Red Cross Society of Shunyi District has carried out a variety of humanitarian relief work, actively helped the needy groups, strengthened emergency rescue knowledge training and education, widely carried out voluntary services, and enthusiastically helped the poor, playing a role of bridge and link between the government and the masses.
