Generally, before making a web page, you need to insert a table and input the processed image and text into the table.
1. Table Composition
The rows and columns of the table need to be determined according to the content of the page section.Although the HTML code usually does not explicitly specify columns, Dreamweaver allows operations on columns, rows, and cells, as shown in Figure 3-1.
2. Create a table
In the blank document window, click Table on the Common tab.Or, click the Table button on the Layout tab to pop up the Table dialog box, and set table parameters to insert a table, as shown in Figure 3-2.
In the Table dialog box, you can set the attributes of the table to be inserted, and the set parameters are mainly for the overall table, as shown in Table 3-1.
3. Insert Nested Table
A nested table is a table in a cell of another table.Nested tables can be formatted just like any other table.However, its width is limited by the width of the cell in which it is located.
Place the cursor in any cell of the table, and click Table on the Layout tab.Then, set table parameters in the pop-up dialog box and insert nested tables, as shown in Figure 3-3.
