Dreamweaver allows users to enter text directly in the page, or copy and paste text from other documents into the page.In addition, other types ofWebsite productionImport text into the document.
1. Enter text
In the document window, position the cursor where you want to input text, and switch to the Chinese input method to input text directly.As shown in Figure 2-1, enter the text directly.
2. Copy and paste text
Copy text in other applications, switch to the design view in the document window, and then execute the Edit | Paste command, as shown in Figure 2-2. Of course, you can also press Ctrl+C to copy text, and Ctrl+V to paste in the document window.
3. Import external data
For many files, it is tedious to input them directly.Therefore, first save the file (Excel file or database file) as a delimited text file to import tabular data into the document.For example, execute the command File Import Excel File.In the pop-up Import Excel File dialog box, select an Excel file and click Open, as shown in Figure 2-3.
At this time, the form will be automatically created in the document window and the imported data will be displayed, as shown in Figure 2-4.
If you need to import tabular data, you can execute the File Import tabular data command, and click Browse in the pop-up Import tabular data dialog box to select a data file, as shown in Figure 2-5.
4. Insert special symbol
In the web page, some special symbols need to be used frequently, such as registered trademark symbol (⑧), currency symbol (¥), etc. It is troublesome to input directly by keyboard.Dreamweaver provides a variety of special characters and symbols, including characters outside the standard 7-bit ASCII character set, as shown in Table 2-1.
