The Pencil tool is used to draw irregular curves and lines in Flash CS3Website productionFor common tools, the specific operation method of using the "pencil" tool is shown in the following example.
[Example 2-1] In Flash CS3, use the "pencil" tool to draw the figure shown in Figure 2-1.
(1) Click the Pencil tool button on the Drawing toolbar.
(2) In the Options area of the Drawing toolbar, select a drawing mode, as shown in Figure 2-2.
(3) Hold down the left mouse button in the work area and drag to draw a straight line or curve.
The various drawing modes of the Pencil tool are described below. "Linearization" mode: the adjacent nodes of the drawn curve are connected by linear segments, so that all lines are as regular as possible as geometric figures. "Smooth" mode: use this mode to make the drawn lines smooth and eliminate the edges and corners of line edges as much as possible. "Ink" mode: the figure drawn with this mode is the closest to the trajectory when drawing.
The drawing effects of the above three modes are shown in Figure 2-2.
When using the pencil tool to draw a graph, you can directly set the width, line shape, color and other attributes of the line in the Properties panel of the pencil tool, as shown in Figure 2-3.
