1、 How to use the Line tool

1. Draw rectangle

Click the Rectangle tool button on the Drawing toolbar, move the cursor to the work area, press and hold the left mouse button at the first corner of the rectangle and drag it to the other opposite corner of the rectangle. Release the mouse to draw a rectangle, as shown in Figure 2-4 (a). If you hold down the Shift key while drawing a rectangle, a square will be drawn, as shown in Figure 2-4 (b).

When using the Rectangle tool in Flash, you can set the rectangle's border, fill color and other attributes in its Properties panel, as shown in Figure 2-5.

You can draw a rounded rectangle by entering a value between - 100-100 in the Rectangle Corner Radius text box of the Rectangle tool Properties panel, as shown in Figure 2-6.

2. Draw polygon

Press the left mouse button on the Rectangle tool button in the Drawing toolbar, as shown in Figure 2-7. The open tool group menu contains tools for drawing various shapes, which can draw polygons and stars. You can open the tool group menu and select the Polygon Star tool to draw polygons and star shapes.

In the Attribute panel of the Polygon Star tool, click the Options button to open the Tool Settings dialog box, where you can set the attributes of polygons, as shown in Figure 2-8.
