Zuckerberg tops Fortune's list of the richest people under 40
On October 20, Beijing time, according to foreign media reports, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was rated by Fortune magazine as the first richest person in the "Top 40 Rich People under 40" list this year. He ranked second in the list last year, and Marc Andreessen, the richest person last year, was not listed this year.
Behind Zuckerberg is Google co-founder and CEO Larry Page, Google's other co-founder Sergey Brin ranked 11th, and Google shareholder Marissa Mayer ranked 20th.(Beijing website production)
Evan Williams and Biz Stone, co founders of Twitter, who ranked third last year, also didn't make the list this year.They have left the company and are now working on new startup plans.
Other technical figures on the list this year include Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Square and Twitter (No. 8), Daniel EK, the CEO of Spotify (No. 18), Andrew Mason, the founder of Groupon (No. 27), and Dennis Crowley, the founder of Foursquare(No. 28), Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowski, co founders of Dropbox (ranking 29), Carolyn Everson, vice president of global sales of Facebook (ranking 35), Dan Yates and Alex Laskey, co founders of Opower(ranking 36th) and Kevin Systrom, the co-founder of Instagram (ranking 39th).
