Flash Software Tutorial Animation Testing and Exporting

Source: Shangpin China | Type: website encyclopedia | Date: August 21, 2015
After the completion of animation production, first test the animation, observe whether there is any discontinuity in the animation, optimize the animation, and then export it to a file of other formats for other applications Website construction The program calls.
When exporting Flash files, the default export format is swf. SWF is a streaming animation format based on Macromedia Shockwave technology. Because of its small size, strong function, good interaction ability, support for multiple layers and time threads, it has been increasingly applied to network animation. Now, the swf format has been published as an open standard and is supported by third-party software.

1. Film testing

Flash is played using streaming media technology, that is, animation is played while downloading. Streaming technology allows users to play the downloaded part before all animation files are downloaded, and download the remaining animation during the playback process.
By testing the movie, you can find the location that caused the interruption during the download of the movie. In the process of downloading a movie, if the required data still fails to download when the movie reaches a certain frame, the movie will be interrupted.
The main output format of animation is the Flash player format, namely the swf format. This format is the only one that supports all interactive animations in the animation. Each editable file generated by Flash is saved in fla file format. If the animation is previewed during editing, a file in swf format will be generated in the same folder, which can be played by an independent player. When creating Flash animations, users can test the effect of the application playing as a swf file at any time.

When testing a movie, you can open any animation file, choose Control I Test Movie, or press Ctrl+Enter. Flash will automatically export the currently opened animation file as a file in swf format, and play the current animation file in the new open window.

2. Film optimization

Although Flash animation adopts streaming media technology and has fast transmission speed on the network, it should be optimized before exporting and publishing Flash animation to minimize the volume of animation, and improve the download speed of animation by testing the download performance of animation. To reduce the size of the animation, you can use the following methods:
  • For the parts that need to be called repeatedly, use components as much as possible, because in Flash, reusing components will not increase the file size.
  • Try to use the automatic animation generated by Flash to produce animation, and use less keyframe animation. Limit the variation range of each key frame, that is, let the animation occur in a small range as far as possible.
  • Avoid using bitmaps too much during animation editing.
  • When using graphs, try to avoid separating them. Graphs that can be combined should be combined as far as possible.
  • Optimize the lines in the drawing. Try to limit the use of some special line types (such as dotted lines, dotted lines, etc.).
  • Try to put static elements and changing elements in the animation on different layers.
  • Restrict the use of fonts and font styles. Try to use the fonts provided by Windows, less Chinese fonts, and try to reduce the font types in an animation.
  • Set the sound compression to MP3 format as far as possible, because under the same quality, MP3 format sound files occupy the least space.
  • Try to set the color effect of different instances of the same component by using the options in the "Color" drop-down list box.
  • Use less gradient color (when filling areas, gradient color filling will occupy 50 bytes more space than solid color filling).
3. Film export

To export the animation file produced by Flash CS3 to the specified file format for editing in other software, you can select the command File | Export | Export Movie, and open the dialog box Export Movie, as shown in Figure 1-34. In addition to exporting dynamic movies, you can also export Flash animations to animation files or graphic files in other formats, such as GIF animation, JPGE, PNG, BMP and AVI video formats, as shown in Figure 1-35.

 Exporting movies
If you select the "Flash Movie" option in the "Save Type" drop-down list box in the "Export Movie" dialog box and click the "Save" button, the "Export Flash Player" dialog box will open, as shown in Figure 1-36. In the "Export Flash Player" dialog box, the options in the "Load Order" drop-down list box determine the display order of the opened animation file (selecting the "Bottom up" option in the list box will start from the lower layer, and selecting the "Top down" option will start from the upper layer).

Select the "Generate Size Report" check box in the "Options" option area to generate a text file named "Movie Report" to record the space occupied by each layer and frame; Select the "Input protection" check box to prevent other users from importing this file into Flash for modification; Select the Ignore trace action check box to cancel tracking instructions. You can set the compression quality of the movie by entering a number of 0-100 in the JPEG Quality text box of the Export Flash Player dialog box.

If you want to adjust the "Audio Stream" and "Audio Event" options, you can click the "Set" button after the "Audio Stream" or "Audio Event" option in the "Export Flash Player" dialog box, and set the sound of exported Flash animation in the open "Sound Settings" dialog box, as shown in Figure 1-37.

 Export Flash Animation
After completing all the settings according to the methods described above, click OK in the Export Flash Player dialog box to export the animation to a Flash movie file.
