How to design a website with good performance?

Over the years, we can only achieve one more, or give up acting without considering aesthetics, anyway. As a website designer with many years of experience, I know this very well. For example, as we all know that large images will slow down the loading time, try to enlarge the image for beauty. However, on modern networks, if this means significant performance loss, is it worth implementing any visual enhancement? Given the right way, you shouldn't do this.

First, users don't tend to stay on slow website loading. They will only find what they want in other places. Besides, the Internet is nothing new. It is unrealistic to think that users will wait for your fancy introduction. People visit your website for a specific purpose. Therefore, anything that hinders them may not be worth implementing.

As a designer, it is easy to form the habit of using huge media files to improve the appearance of the website. This has been the way of doing things for decades.
